Jenny Farms
Turn-key irrigated pasture ranch
John Brennan has worked with conservation organizations in the Sacramento Valley for years. Several of our sales and listings carry easements, and we explain what they allow before a buyer commits.
An easement changes what a property can become. The Road 106 property near Davis, three legal parcels totaling 437 acres, sold subject to an Agricultural Conservation Easement. The Highway 20 ranch was encumbered by an easement held by California Rangeland Trust. On Chamberlain Road, the easement preserved the land in perpetuity and excluded two homesites. Jenny Farms, our current listing, has an easement on about 406 acres that allows the existing irrigated pasture use.
The right question is not whether an easement is good or bad. It is what the recorded document permits, who holds it, and whether the property's value to you depends on uses it restricts. We help buyers get the easement in hand early; the Jenny Farms listing says a copy is available to qualified buyers on request.
