Mendocino View Farms
Improved ag research and nursery facility on the Sacramento River
We have an office in the town of Colusa. Our Colusa County work covers a 3,147-acre winter rangeland ranch in the Coast Range foothills, a 540-acre almond operation near College City, and an improved research and nursery property on the Sacramento River.
Colusa County runs from irrigated valley floor along the Sacramento River to hill ranches in the west. Both show up in our record. The ranch on Highway 20 near Williams had ponds, seasonal streams, elevations from 1,100 to 2,000 feet, and a conservation easement held by California Rangeland Trust. On the valley side, the North Eddy Road almond operation near College City had orchards planted between 1997 and 2013 plus 83 acres of cropland that had never been planted to trees.
The current Colusa County offering, Mendocino View Farms, is on the river in the southern end of the county, about five miles southeast of Grimes. It sits within the service area of Reclamation District 108, but the listing says plainly that reaching district surface water would require an easement and conveyance improvements, and that the property is irrigated by a well today. That kind of detail is why we write water and access qualifications into every listing.
Clint Jewett works from the Colusa office and is the first call for Colusa County appraisal, management and sales.
